Map shows where a woman was killed in Santa Monica by a hit-and-run driver.
A 30-year-old woman died after she was struck in Santa Monica by a hit-and-run driver, police said Monday night.

The driver was traveling west on Wilshire Boulevard and hit the woman early Monday as she was in a crosswalk on 21st Street, the Santa Monica Police Department said.

The driver continued along Wilshire in a vehicle described as a charcoal gray or black Toyota or similar type sedan, which will have damage to the front grille, hood and driver’s side headlight assembly, police said.

The woman's name was not released. She was a Santa Monica resident.
