Rock singer arrested for alleged DUI; several parked cars hit

The singer for the rock band Amen was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence after his SUV slammed into several parked cars in the San Fernando Valley early Friday morning, police said.

An SUV driven by Karim George Chmielinski, 46, slammed into three cars over a roughly 2-mile area near Laurelgrove Avenue and Laurel Terrace Drive in Studio City, said Los Angeles Police Department spokeswoman Norma Eisenman.

Chmielinski goes by the stage name Casey Chaos, according to Eisenman.

Early reports indicated that Chmielinski’s SUV had hit as many as 15 cars. When police retraced the singer’s path, they found his vehicle had hit three cars, causing moderate damage.
