Man shot in buttocks in West Hollywood's Plummer Park
Deputies were searching Monday for a gunman who fired on three people sitting on a West Hollywood park bench, striking one man in the buttocks and sending him to the hospital, authorities said.
A Los Angeles County sheriff's deputy who was in the area heard the gunshots from Plummer Park and responded about 11:25 p.m. Sunday, said sheriff's Sgt. Richard Bowman.
The gunman fired four to five shots and left the park before police could detain him, Bowman said.
The gunshot victim was in stable condition after undergoing surgery, Bowman said.
