Man driving drunk in McDonald's drive-thru, Sacramento police allege

A man was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving -- while in a McDonald's drive-through.

The arrest occurred Saturday night near Sacramento.

Authorities were called to the the McDonald's near Northgate Boulevard and Rosin Court after a report of a suspected drunk driver in the drive-through.

When police approached the car, the driver jumped out of the car and fled on foot.

Authorities quickly caught and arrested 23-year-old Juan Jimenez.

News 10 reported that witnesses had said the driver appeared to be dozing off before police arrived.

He faces charges for allegedly driving under the influence.
