Man arrested in fatal Huntington Beach stabbing

Alexandre Louis Antel was arrested in connection with a fatal Huntington Beach stabbing, police saidA 22-year-old Huntington Beach man has been arrested on suspicion of fatally stabbing a man in his apartment, police said Tuesday.

Alexandre Louis Antal was apprehended about 3:45 a.m. Tuesday on the Santa Ana River Bridge by officers who had received information from witnesses, the Huntington Beach Police Department said.

Officers recovered a weapon nearby that appears to have been used in the killing of Michael Vito Urso, 32, police said. Urso was pronounced dead after he was found stabbed in his Huntington Beach apartment shortly after midnight Tuesday, police said.

The two men "were well-acquainted," police said in a statement, adding that there are no other suspects.
