Crime reports are up significantly for the latest week in nine L.A. neighborhoods, according to an analysis of LAPD data by the Los Angeles Times’ Crime L.A. database.

Six neighborhoods reported a significant increase in violent crime. Studio City (A) was the most unusual, recording three reports compared with a weekly average of 0.8 over the last three months.

Toluca Lake (G) topped the list of four neighborhoods with property crime alerts. It recorded eight property crimes compared with its weekly average of 3.4 over the last three months.

One neighborhood triggered alerts for both violent and property crime.

Alerts are based on an analysis of crime reports for July 13–July 19, the most recent seven days for which data are available.
