Crime alerts for Pacoima, Glassell Park and 7 other L.A. areas
Crime reports are up significantly for the latest week in nine L.A. neighborhoods, according to an analysis of LAPD data by the Los Angeles Times’ Crime L.A. database.
Three neighborhoods reported a significant increase in violent crime. Pacoima (A) was the most unusual, recording 11 reports compared with a weekly average of 6.2 over the last three months.
Glassell Park (D) topped the list of six neighborhoods with property crime alerts. It recorded 10 property crimes compared with its weekly average of 6.6 over the last three months.
Alerts are based on an analysis of crime reports for July 7–July 13, the most recent seven days for which data are available.
