Auditorium at Franklin High School in Highland Park floods

The auditorium at Franklin High School in Highland Park flooded Saturday afternoon, and firefighters spent two hours pumping water out of the nearly 100-year-old building.

The flooding was reported at 4:32 p.m. Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Brian Humphrey said 27 firefighters came to the auditorium, which may have been under construction.

No one was injured. Humphrey did not have details on the cause of the flooding or the extent of the damage.
