Fight at home of Michael Jackson's mother adds to family tensions

Jackson family matriarch Katherine Jackson has been the subject of several calls to authorities in recent days.

It started over the weekend when some in the Jackson camp -- including Paris Jackson, Michael's  daughter, said the King of Pop's mother was missing. L.A. County Sheriff's Department officials investigated and found Katherine Jackson was fine and with family.

Then on Monday, there was a fight at the home  involving various family members.

"Lost Hills deputies responded to a family disturbance at the home of Katherine Jackson in the city of Calabasas. Deputies determined that a physical altercation had occurred, a battery. It involved members of the Jackson family," said sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore.

He did not name those involved and added that no arrests were made.

Los Angeles County sheriff's deputies have been investigating allegations since April that Michael Jackson's mother was being exploited by family members.

Whitmore said a business associate of the family made the accusation. Deputies interviewed Katherine Jackson, who denied the allegation. No arrests have been made, but the case is ongoing.

The claim was that Katherine Jackson was being  "emotionally and financially mistreated by family members," Whitmore said. "She emphatically denied the allegations, and deputies determined she was in good health."
