Earthquake: 3.2 quake recorded near Twentynine Palms
A shallow magnitude 3.2 earthquake was reported Sunday morning 12 miles from Twentynine Palms, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The temblor occurred at 3:50 a.m. Pacific time at a depth of 4.3 miles.
According to the USGS, the epicenter was 15 miles from Joshua Tree, 18 miles from Thousand Palms and 100 miles from San Diego.
In the last 10 days, there have been two earthquakes magnitude 3.0 and greater centered nearby.
