Angry crowd, Anaheim police clash after officers kill man

An officer-involved shooting that left a man dead led to unrest and a clash with officers in an Anaheim neighborhood on Saturday.

Details of the shooting are still unclear, but Anaheim police told reporters Saturday night that officers chased and fatally shot a man on Anna Drive Saturday afternoon.

A crowd in the neighborhood threw rocks and bottles at officers investigating the incident, according to KTLA News. Officers returned to the scene some time later after the crowd refused to disperse from the area, the station reported.

The Associated Press and several TV stations reported police fired beanbag rounds to quell the crowd.
