A 14-year-old boy was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of sexually assaulting a woman at an Oxnard laundromat, police said.

The boy was allegedly seen on surveillance camera footage as he attacked the 31-year-old woman Sunday about 11:30 p.m. at Ben's Laundromat at 501 Cooper Road, according to the Oxnard Police Department.

The boy was being held at Ventura County juvenile hall. His name was not released because of his age, police said.

Anyone with information is asked to call Det. Luis McArthur at (805) 385-7662.
