Lanes reopened on 10 Freeway in Mid-City after multi-vehicle crash

Traffic is moving again on the 10 Freeway in Mid-City after a multiple-vehicle accident blocked most eastbound lanes Wednesday morning, delaying the morning commute.

At least three vehicles — including one that overturned — were involved in the collision, which was reported about 5:11 a.m., said CHP Officer Ed Jacobs. At least two people were taken to area hospitals with unknown injuries, but Jacobs said there were no known fatalities.

Only one lane of the freeway was clear about 6 a.m. The rest had reopened about a half-hour later.
