Katie Holmes, Tom Cruise may be headed for divorce
Katie Holmes has hired a divorce attorney after five years of marriage to Tom Cruise.
The office of New Jersey divorce attorney Jonathan W. Wolfe confirmed to The Times on Friday that he is representing Holmes in the proceedings, but declined to say whether the actress has formally begun divorce proceedings.
No case has been filed in Los Angeles County, where the couple have a home, court officials said.

In a statement released to People Magazine, Wolfe said, "This is a personal and private matter for Katie and her family. Katie's primary concern remains, as it always has been, her daughter's best interest."
Wolfe's website notes that he specializes in “sophisticated business litigation and significant matrimonial disputes.”
Holmes' publicist did not immediately return calls for comment.
