Four killed in shootout at Sacramento home, police say

Four people were killed in a shootout at a Sacramento home during a home invasion late Saturday, police said.

Police responded to a report of a shooting around 10:40 p.m. Saturday. Officers who arrived at the home in the 7600 block of 18th Street discovered four people dead, according to the Sacramento Police Department.

A fifth person at the scene had sustained non-life-threatening injuries, and was treated at an area hospital.

No other information was immediately available about the circumstances surrounding the shooting or the identities of the victims. Anyone with information was asked to call (916) 264-5471.
