Robber with scruffy beard, baseball cap hits three banks in one day
A 60-ish robber with a scruffy beard and a baseball cap bearing a "C" similar to the Chicago Cubs logo robbed three banks in northern San Diego County on Friday, the FBI said.
The robber, who told tellers that he had a gun, robbed a Chase bank in Poway at 9:32 a.m., a U.S. Bank in Vista at 1:31 p.m. and a U.S. Bank in Poway at 3:05 p.m.
The FBI described the robber as about 5-foot-9 and 225 pounds, in a blue windbreaker and wearing glasses. He is not considered the Geezer Bandit, suspected of 16 bank robberies.
