Beastly: Ray Haack happened upon this rusty pole along Broadway near Los Angeles State Historic Park in Chinatown on Thursday, his eyes drawn by the neat white lettering. When he Googled the letters, he found that "besto" means "beast" or "animal" in Esperanto.
