1 person killed, 2 injured in Northridge auto accident

A female passenger was killed and two drivers were injured Monday night in a Northridge traffic accident, authorities said.

The collision occurred about 9:35 p.m. in the 19700 block of West Parthenia Place and involved two cars and the fence of a home, Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Matt Spence said.

The drivers of both vehicles were taken to hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries. The female victim was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

The names and ages of the victims were not given. Details of the accident were unknown.
