Police search for suspect in North Hollywood stabbing death

A North Hollywood man was killed in a fight with his roommate early Saturday, authorities said.

Los Angeles police are searching for the suspect, Manuel Garcia, 21, who they say fatally stabbed his roommate, 68, in the 12900 block of Vanowen Street at about 2:40 a.m.

The victim, who was not identified, died at the scene.

Authorities believe the suspect sustained a stab wound during the fight.
