The Daytime Emmy Awards were able to go on as scheduled at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Saturday as police investigated the deaths of two people at the famed hotel.

A man and woman were found shot to death at the Beverly Hilton Hotel late Friday night in what appeared to be a murder-suicide, Beverly Hills police reported.

Few details about the deaths were revealed, and the names of the pair have not be released.

Lt. Mark Rosen, a department spokesman, said Saturday that the shooting occurred about 10:50 p.m. on the grounds of the famed luxury hotel at 9876 Wilshire Blvd.

Police did not provide ages of the victims but described them as elderly.

The Emmy ceremony occurred at the hotel on Saturday evening.
