Man shot by LAPD in Hollywood-area pursuit

Los Angeles police shot a man Thursday afternoon during a pursuit in the Hollywood area.

No officers were reported injured in the incident, and was unclear whether the shooting was fatal, the Los Angeles Police Department said.

No additional details were immediately available.
