Los Angeles Police Department investigators are looking for suspects who broke into Kanye West's home in the Hollywood Hills early Wednesday or late Tuesday.

Burglars entered West's 4,200-square-foot home, which is nestled high in the hills, and police were trying to determine if any items were stolen. West was performing in England, and law enforcement sources said the home is often not in use.

The home has been on the market for a little under $4 million and features many computer-controlled security systems and a massive aquarium wall. The break-in in the 7800 block of Fareholm Drive was discovered about 6:30 a.m. Wednesday, when police were alerted.

"The owner wasn't home at the time, and it is unknown if any property was taken," said LAPD Officer Bruce Borihanh.

The Hollywood Hills neighborhood has had 217 property crimes in the last six months
