Four people injured in explosion in South L.A.
Four people were injured, two of them apparently critically, in a reported explosion Wednesday evening in the Historic South-Central district of Los Angeles.
The patients at the scene at 2528 S. Grand Ave. were taken by ambulances to local hospitals, the Los Angeles Fire Department said.
The explosion was reported about 6:40 p.m. It was unclear what type of explosion occurred, Fire Department spokesman Matt Spence said.
No additional details were immediately available.
