Woman, 65, found stabbed to death in her Simi Valley home

Police were investigating Friday the fatal stabbing of a 65-year-old woman in her Simi Valley home.

Police were called to the 1500 block of Carmen Drive around 8 p.m. Thursday after an acquaintance discovered the woman's body, Simi Valley officials told told the Ventura County Star.

The victim's name was not released. No other information was available.
