Earthquake: 3.2 temblor rattles near Yucca Valley
A shallow magnitude 3.2 earthquake was reported Monday evening five miles from Yucca Valley, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The temblor occurred at 9:22 p.m. Pacific Daylight Time at a depth of 4.3 miles.
According to the USGS, the epicenter was five miles from Joshua Tree, 11 miles from Desert Hot Springs, 18 miles from Twentynine Palms and 99 miles from San Diego.
In the last 10 days, there has been one earthquake magnitude 3.0 and greater centered nearby.
