Earthquake: 3.2 temblor rattles near Ocotillo Wells
A shallow magnitude 3.2 earthquake was reported Monday evening six miles from Ocotillo Wells, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The temblor occurred at 9:01 p.m. Pacific time at a depth of 3.7 miles.
According to the USGS, the epicenter was 16 miles from Salton City, 21 miles from Salton Sea Beach, 35 miles from El Centro and 66 miles from San Diego.
In the last 10 days, there have been no earthquakes magnitude 3.0 and greater centered nearby.
