Brush fire causes evacuation of homes in eastern San Diego County

A fast-moving brush fire has burned more than 100 acres near the rural community of Campo in eastern San Diego County and forced the evacuation of homes in its path, Cal Fire said Sunday afternoon.

The Red Cross has set up an evacuation center at the Golden Acorn Casino. The fire, dubbed the Old Fire, was reported at 2 p.m.
