As Alex Trebek recovers from heart attack, 'Jeopardy!' wins Emmy

Alex Trebek is expected to resume taping "Jeopardy"

"Jeopardy!" host Alex Trebek got some good news as he recovered from a heart attack Saturday: His show won an Emmy Award.

Trebek was stricken Saturday in Los Angeles. That evening, "Jeopardy!" was awarded best game show at the Daytime Emmy Awards in Beverly Hills.

The 71-year-old is undergoing further testing at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center after being admitted Saturday, Sony Television's Paula Askanas confirmed to The Times. She said Trebek was in "good spirits" following the incident.

Trebek is expected to make a full recovery, Askanas said, and should be on the set when "Jeopardy!" begins taping its 29th season in July.

Trebek also suffered a heart attack in 2007. He took several weeks off and then resumed taping "Jeopardy!"
