Four aftershocks follow 4.1 Southern California earthquake

Four aftershocks were reported Wednesday night after a 4.1 earthquake in the Yorba Linda area.

The aftershocks included two 2.4-magnitude temblors that were about two miles north and north-northwest of Yorba Linda, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The 4.1 temblor that hit about 8:17 p.m. was felt over a wide area of Los Angeles and Orange counties. The Orange County Sheriff's Department said there were no immediate reports of injuries.

[Updated 9:08 p.m.: The Orange County Fire Authority said there were no reports of major damage. The agency said it was resuming normal operations.]
