Slain man found in Castro Valley garage, house filled with blood

May 16, 2012 |  7:17 am

Authorities in the Northern California community of Castro Valley are investigating the death of a man whose body was found in the garage of a blood-soaked home, they said.

Alameda County sheriffs had followed an anonymous tip, which did not provide an address but reported that someone “had been done some harm,” officials told the San Francisco Chronicle.

Authorities came up with the location based on previous neighborhood complaints about traffic and parties at the home.

A group of people outside the house fled when deputies arrived Monday night, and there was a significant amount of blood in the house.

No arrests have been made, authorities said, and the man’s identity and cause of death were still under investigation.
