One man killed, one wounded in San Bernardino shooting
San Bernardino police are investigating a double shooting Tuesday that left one man dead and another wounded.
Gunfire rang out in the early morning in a San Bernardino neighborhood where a homicide occurred earlier this month. Officers received a call at 2:04 a.m. reporting the gunshots near the corner of Mt. Vernon Avenue and Congress Street, according to the Sun.
Officers arrived and found a man with gunshot wounds lying in the 200 block of South Lenore Avenue. A second injured man was discovered around the corner from the cul-de-sac, the paper reported.
One of the men died at the scene and the other was taken to a hospital. The death was the fourth killing in San Bernardino in six days, and the 11th homicide this month, authorities said.
