Marine found dead at Camp Pendleton

A 23-year-old Marine has been found dead at Camp Pendleton.

Lance Cpl. Michael Ronner, of Sudbury, Mass., was found at 9:15 a.m. Monday. Paramedics were unable to revive him. Officials declined to release details about the death.

The death is under investigation by the Naval Criminal Investigative Service.

Ronner was assigned to the 9th Communications Battalion, 1st Marine Expeditionary Force Headquarters Group, 1st Marine Expeditionary Force.
