What questions do you want to ask the candidates for L.A. district attorney?

Lanow.newtonAs the election season heats up, most of the candidates for the job of Los Angeles County district attorney have agreed to attend a forum this week to discuss the issues.

It will take place at The Times at 11 a.m. on Wednesday and is scheduled to feature City Atty. Carmen Trutanich, Deputy Dist. Atty.Talk back LA Danette Meyers, Deputy Dist. Atty. John Breault III, gang homicide prosecutor Alan Jackson and Chief Deputy Dist. Atty. Jackie Lacey.

Times editor-at-large Jim Newton will moderate the discussion and would welcome suggestions on what you'd like to hear from these candidates.
