Detectives investigating fatal shooting of man in Florence

Homicide detectives are investigating the death of a man found shot in unincorporated Florence early Sunday morning.

The man, whose name and age have not been released, was found in the 8100 block of Lou Dillon Avenue about 12:25 a.m., said Deputy Tony Moore of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. The victim was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

No arrests have been made.

Investigators ask for anyone with information about the incident to call homicide detectives at (323) 890-5500.
