Coast Guard rescues fisherman stricken with chest pains

A 51-year-old man who suffered chest pains while on a fishing expedition 12 miles from San Diego was evacuated Wednesday by a Coast Guard vessel.

The 45-foot response boat reached the fishing vessel Malihini and took the man aboard. In San Diego, the man underwent medical treatment.
