Junior Seau's stolen bike is recovered

The bicycle stolen from the garage of Junior Seau's home in Oceanside several days after his death has been recovered.

The bicycle was recovered by Oceanside police from a man who had innocently purchased it for $86, possibly from the thief, according to the North County Times. The man is not considered a suspect in the burglary of Seau's oceanfront home.

Seau, 43, was found dead May 2 of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Five days later, a burglar got into the garage through a doggy door and stole the bicycle but did not enter the house.
