Angeles Crest Highway remains closed after body is discovered

Angeles Crest Highway remained closed Thursday morning as homicide detectives investigated the circumstances surrounding the discovery of a man’s body along the road.

The highway, about three miles north of the 210 Freeway, was closed about 6:20 a.m. at the 27.5 mile marker and was scheduled to reopen four hours later, the California Highway Patrol said.

Sheriff’s officials have not released any other details.
