Authorities were trying to determine Thursday what caused an early morning fire that ripped through an Anaheim apartment building.

The blaze started shortly after midnight in the 2000 block of South Haster Street, KTLA-TV reported.   Video showed flames shooting through the windows and doors.

In total, four units were affected and two units sustained heavy damage, KTLA-TV reported. Several families were displaced.

No injuries were reported. One neighbor told the TV station they saw a car speed away from the scene after the fire started.
