Woman held captive, repeatedly raped for three days, police say

Tyrone Laurence Dyson, arrested in connection to the captivity case

A woman was held captive and raped by a man for three days before escaping, according to the Yuba County Sheriff’s Department.

Tyrone Laurence Dyson, 31, was arrested in connection with the crime on charges of rape, assault with a firearm and false imprisonment, among others.

Deputies said the woman, who is not being identified, said she was threatened at gunpoint and raped over the course of three days.

She managed to escape the home in the town of Linda on Saturday.
