Southbound 710 closed after big rig topples

The southbound lanes of the 710 Freeway in Long Beach were closed this morning after a big rig toppled.

The accident happened just before 2 a.m. at Del Amo Boulevard. No one was injured. The northbound lanes were slowed by crash debris that spilled over.

The CHP said it hoped to have lanes open again by 6:30 a.m.
