Reader photos: Southern California Moments, Day 95

Squirrel stare-down: Kristina Krause captured this photo outside her home in Glendale. Each morning, she said, this squirrel crosses her driveway along a utility cable that connects to her backyard. One morning in late March, Krause happened to be outside with her camera and two greyhounds as the squirrel made its daily commute to her mulberry tree. "Just as he got directly overhead, he stopped and stared down intently at me and my two large dogs, long enough for me to get several shots of him and to feel strangely intimidated before he continued going about his business," she said.
