Spring flowers: Diane Trimble makes sure to visit the Flower Fields in Carlsbad every year. She snapped this shot of a flower during her most recent trip on April 23 with a Canon EOS 40D.

"One of the many color variations of ranunculus found at the Flower Fields... " said Trimble. "Loved the little tag-a-long fly on the petal."
