Crime alerts for Toluca Lake, Arleta and 10 other L.A. neighborhoods
Crime reports are up significantly for the latest week in 12 L.A. neighborhoods, according to an analysis of Los Angeles Police Department data by the Los Angeles Times’ Crime L.A. database.
Six neighborhoods reported a significant increase in violent crime. Toluca Lake (A) was the most unusual, recording three reports compared with a weekly average of 0.3 over the last three months.
Arleta (G) topped the list of six neighborhoods with property crime alerts. It recorded 14 property crimes compared with its weekly average of 9.6 over the last three months.
Alerts are based on an analysis of crime reports for March 29–April 4, the most recent seven days for which data are available.
