Earthquake: 3.2 quake strikes near Ocotillo

A shallow magnitude 3.2 earthquake was reported Sunday morning 13 miles from Ocotillo, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The temblor occurred at 1:15 a.m. Pacific time at a depth of 2.5 miles.

According to the USGS, the epicenter was 15 miles from Seeley, 20 miles from Heber, 20 miles from El Centro and 69 miles from Tijuana.

In the past 10 days, there have been 10 earthquakes of magnitude 3.0 or greater centered nearby.
