Baby girl, two adults killed in 710 Freeway rollover crash

Authorities were investigating Tuesday a rollover crash on the 710 Freeway in Long Beach that killed a 2-month-old baby and two adults believed to be her parents.

A Ford Explorer was traveling southbound on the freeway Monday night when the driver apparently lost control of the SUV, veered off the road and flipped multiple times before coming to rest on a railroad track, said CHP Officer Monica Posada.

The baby girl and a male passenger, believed to be her father, were pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver, believed to be the girl’s mother, was pronounced dead at a hospital, said Long Beach Fire Capt. Rich Brandt.

The victims' names were not released.
