San Jacinto boy abducted; estranged father suspected
Southern California law enforcement authorities issued an Amber Alert Friday after a 5-year-old San Jacinto boy was abducted from the home of his baby-sitter late the previous night.
Domenic Smith was taken from the San Jacinto home at 10:37 p.m. Thursday, reportedly by his father, Anthony Smith-Dixon, who was under a restraining order to stay away from the boy's mother, the Riverside County Sheriff's Department said.
Smith-Dixon, 25, was believed to be driving a gold four-door Saturn sedan with a missing driver's side door panel, the sheriff's office said.
Anyone with information about the case is asked to contact the San Jacinto Police Department at (951) 654-2702.
