Cindi Kauffman photographed this peacock early in the day Feb. 19 at the Los Angeles County Arboretum & Botanic Garden in Arcadia. "The depth of his feather and the richness of the colors caught my eye first, as I was seeing him turn, and then it was like he was looking at me and showing off a bit by ruffling his feathers," Kauffman said.
