Suspect sought in fatal stabbing of janitor in Mission Hills

UntitledPolice are looking for a man suspected of stabbing a janitor to death in the basement of a Mission Hills medical facility.

Police believe Jesus Bautista Maldonado, 43, of Los Angeles confronted and stabbed Florentino Reyes-Lucas, 42, a contract employee who was working as a janitor in the building. Reyes-Lucas was found dead about 6:30 a.m. Friday.

Detectives believe Maldonado may have fled the country. He is described as 5 foot 6 tall and weighing about 200 pounds.
