New sex charges filed against Orange County soccer coach

March 2, 2012 | 11:50 am

A second teenage girl was victimized by a former Orange County soccer coach, authorities said Friday when announcing additional charges against the Lake Forest suspect.

Robert Vincent Peace, 45, is accused of coercing a 14-year-old girl into sending him pornographic videos after meeting her online. He was charged in January of similar conduct with a 13-year-old girl.

The two additional charges -– one felony count of lewd acts on a child and one felony count of child porn possession -– bring the total number of charges against Peace to 17.

He is being held on $250,000 bail and is scheduled to be arraigned Friday. If convicted on all counts, Peace could face up to 26 years and six months in prison and be forced to register as a sex offender.
