'Octomom' Nadya Suleman faces eviction this week

Octuplets mom Nadya Suleman and her 14 children face eviction from their La Habra home on Thursday, but the foreclosure sale could be delayed until late April, her attorney said Tuesday.

Attorney Jeff Czech told City News Service that the famous mother got a notice of a foreclosure auction recently but that he was able to get it delayed for “a short while.”

“We are working on it,” Czech told CNS. “The foreclosure sale is not likely this month.”

Suleman, 36, has been struggling financially and has had trouble hanging onto the home since she moved in with her octuplets and other children in January 2009. Her challenges raising so many kids  at the house on Madonna Lane were documented for a reality TV show, and media attention followed.

Subsequently, her real estate agent used her celebrity to help try to sell the house, and she has agreed to pose partially nude for a British magazine to help pay her debts.
